API Access and Billing¶
Several Suppli features use AI — Suppli Ads, Suppli DM, Suppli Mail, Suppli Leads and the assistant. There are two ways to power them, and you don't have to choose in advance.
Suppli API credit (the default)¶
Your $20/month subscription includes $5.00 of AI credit, $4.70 of it usable after the 6% Suppli margin. Suppli draws from that balance on your behalf across every AI provider it uses, so you never open an account with any of them.
The monthly credit resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over — anything unused is discarded rather than added to the next month. You can see the balance, what each feature has used, and how much of the month's credit is left on the API Keys & Suppli API Credit page.
Running out¶
If a month's usage goes past the included credit, you have two options:
- Top-up credit — buy more from the same settings page. Top-up credit is a separate pool that never expires, and it is used once the monthly allowance is gone.
- Your own keys — connect your own provider keys instead. A feature using your key draws no Suppli credit, and you pay your providers directly with no markup from Suppli.
$5.00 loaded = $4.70 of usable credit. The 6% covers infrastructure, payment processing and maintaining the pool.
Spending cap¶
You can set an optional monthly spending cap on the same settings page. Once the cap is reached, Suppli stops drawing credit for the rest of that month, so a runaway job can't quietly spend a balance.
Which one gets used¶
For each AI call, Suppli uses your own key for that feature if you've connected one. Otherwise it draws from your Suppli API credit — monthly allowance first, then top-up credit. If there's no credit and no key of your own, the feature tells you so instead of failing silently.
