Collections

Collections group the products in your catalog — "Gift bags", "Best sellers", "Holiday" — so a long catalog stays easy to work with. A product can be in as many collections as you like, and deleting a collection never deletes a product.

Create a collection

  1. Open Catalog and press the Collection button (the tag icon) beside + Add product.
  2. Add an image if you want one, a name and a description.
  3. Under Add products to the collection, search by title or SKU and tick every product that belongs. You can file dozens at once.
  4. Press Create collection.

Add products from a product page

Every product page has a Collections card. Press Add to collection, tick the collections the product belongs in (or create a new one right there with + New), and save. The product's collections show as chips you can click.

File many products at once

On the catalog list, tick products and use Add to collection or Remove from collection in the bar at the bottom. Removing only shows the collections the selected products are actually in.

You can also file products when importing a CSV: add a collection column. Put several collections in one cell separated by | (for example Gift bags|Best sellers). Names match your existing collections whatever their capitalisation; a name Suppli hasn't seen creates a new collection. A blank cell files nothing. Products already in your catalog are filed too, so re-uploading a sheet with a collection column is a quick way to organise what you have.

See your collections

On the catalog list, press Collections next to All · Active · Draft · Out of stock. Each collection shows its image, name and how many products it holds. Products that aren't in any collection don't appear in this view — they're counted under Uncategorised at the bottom, so you can see what still needs filing.

Open a collection to see its products as a grid with their photo, title, SKU and Active or Draft status. From there you can + Add products, remove one with the ✕ on its card, Edit the name, description and image, or Delete the collection.

Deleting

Deleting a collection removes the collection only. Every product stays in your catalog. Deleting a product removes it from its collections.

Collections are Suppli's own grouping. They aren't pushed to Shopify or any other channel.
