Suppli API credit¶

AI features on Suppli run on Suppli API credit — a single balance Suppli draws from on your behalf, pooled across providers, so you never have to open an account with any of them.

Your $20/month includes $5.00 of AI credit, $4.70 of it usable after the 6% Suppli margin (which covers infrastructure, payment processing and maintaining the pool). It resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over — anything unused is discarded rather than added to the next month. Supplier API fetches on Pro are paid from this credit at measured server cost plus 6%; only they can take your balance below $0, down to −$1.00, and that comes off next month's credit.

The Suppli assistant (the astronaut on Home, the floating button, the docs "Ask Suppli") has included chats that cost nothing: 5 a month on the free plan, 15 a month on Pro. A chat is one message you send. After those, on Pro, each message is charged to your Suppli credit at the serving model's token price; once credit is gone it runs on your own key for the provider that serves it (OpenAI today); with neither, the assistant tells you plainly and makes no call. The count resets on the 1st of the month.

If you need more than the monthly allowance, you have two options: buy top-up credit, which is a separate pool that never expires, or connect your own provider keys and pay those providers directly. See how Suppli API credit works →
